Simplias, a software provider headquartered in Leipzig, has developed a standardized interface to the QR code system of Afriso's mobile handheld measuring devices as part of a cooperation.

Afriso offers portable measuring devices for flue gas technology, gas leak detection and pressure measurement technology. 'mfr' from Simplias is a field service management system for coordinating technicians. 'mfr' offers customers software for digitizing deployment planning and creating measurement logs and service reports. Technicians are scheduled via an online portal and can write their service reports offline on the go using their mobile devices. To simplify the technicians' work, the data from the Afriso measuring devices will be integrated into the measurement report via the QR code function (Android) in future. This means that the service technician no longer has to laboriously enter the data into the system in the service report. Examples of applications include the regular maintenance of systems, new commissioning and the repair or maintenance of systems.
