Data logger
Measure three phases directly
Althen is expanding its portfolio with new data loggers. According to the manufacturer, the GL2000 device can perform a true RMS measurement with a safety category of CAT-III. Another new feature is that three phases can be measured and monitored directly.
A sampling rate of one megasample and the higher RAM memory are intended to enable a longer recording time, which is written directly to the RAM. The device is designed for troubleshooting and fault recording in control cabinets, voltage documentation and machine diagnostics. Designed for high voltage, the data logger can supply up to 600 V or a maximum voltage of 1000 V directly to the input terminals. It offers four channels, each of which is preceded by an AD converter. This enables sampling rates of up to one microsecond, which are stored on the 4 GByte flash memory. The system measures thermocouples and humidity and can record pulse and logic with all four channels. The optically identical GL980 is designed for research and development due to its different specifications. As an eight-channel device, it enables the recording of voltages up to a maximum of 500 V and true RMS up to 250 V.
