Matthias Altendorf joins the Board of Directors
Matthias Altendorf moves to the Board of Directors at Endress+Hauser and hands over the position of CEO to Dr. Peter Selders. The management of Endress+Hauser Level+Pressure has also been restaffed.

© Endress+HauserAnnounced in February 2023, now official: Matthias Altendorf is the new Chairman of the Board of Directors at Endress+Hauser. His position as CEO will be taken over by Dr. Peter Selders. The 54-year-old, who holds a doctorate in physics, has been with the Swiss specialist for measurement technology and automation solutions since 2004 and was previously head of the competence center for level and pressure measurement technology based in Maulburg. He is the Group's fourth CEO in its 70-year history.
After ten years at the helm, Selder's predecessor Matthias Altendorf is moving to the Group's Board of Directors. In 2014, the 56-year-old became the first non-family CEO to succeed Dr. h. c. Klaus Endress. He is now replacing the 75-year-old as Chairman of the Board of Directors. In future, two members of the third generation will represent the interests of the shareholder family: In addition to Sandra Genge, Steven Endress, a grandson of the company founder, will join the Board on January 1, 2024.

Dr. Dirk Mörmann will head the competence center for level and pressure measurement technology in the future

Peter Selders will be succeeded at Endress+Hauser Level+Pressure by Dr. Dirk Mörmann (50), who was previously Head of Technology and a member of the Executive Board. Endress+Hauser had already announced all of these changes in February 2023.
