Including OPC UA client/server interface

Delphin Technology is expanding its 'Expert Logger' series with the Type 400 with OPC UA client/server interface. The self-sufficient data logger system is thus equipped for the universal exchange of measured values at field level and for the requirements of Industry 4.0.

The device also has Profibus, Modbus, CAN bus and serial interfaces. PCs are connected via USB, LAN, WLAN or LTE.
The data logger is equipped with 16 universally usable, differential analog inputs for measuring mV and mA signals or any thermocouples. The accuracy is specified with 24 bits and the measuring rate with a maximum of 1000 measurements/s. The logger can also be used to measure Pt100(0) sensors in 2-, 3- or 4-wire technology or strain gages.
With a total of 24 switchable digital inputs/outputs, edges and fault events can be recorded to the microsecond or alarms can be output. A total of six analog outputs enable the control of controllers or actuators.
Measured values and limit value violations can be transmitted directly to subsystems via OPC UA. The OPC UA interface is also suitable for exchanging data with PLCs or for connecting to PCT systems.
