The B58622M32* series comprises five types with measuring ranges from 0 to 500 mbar and 0 to 10 bar. The dimensions, including the connections, are 57 mm x 34 mm x 39 mm. According to TDK, the transmitters offer high media resistance. Thanks to a diaphragm made of high-alloy AISI 316L steel at both pressure connections, the pressure is transferred to the sensor element via oil-filled, media-separated sensor cells. The sensor element is therefore not in direct contact with the medium, which enables pressure measurement of aggressive liquids and gases. The compact pressure transducers have two G1/8" pressure connections and an M12 connector for the electrical connection. The integrated signal conditioning provides a calibrated analog output signal of 0.5 V to 4.5 V. The transmitters achieve an accuracy over the entire pressure range of ±1.5 % FS in the temperature range from -20 to +140 °C.

The leakage currents under control

In variable-speed drives, the individual components cause leakage currents which, in total, can trigger the residual current circuit breaker and lead to production downtimes. These currents can be largely compensated for with a new type of module.
