ZVEI
Ziesemer confirmed as President
The ZVEI Board of Directors has re-elected Michael Ziesemer as President. The term of office is three years. During this time, shaping digitalization will remain the defining task - especially in the energy sector.
Ziesemer has been a member of the ZVEI Executive Board for thirteen years, as Vice President since 2008 and as President from 2014. As ZVEI President, he also continues his office as Vice President of the BDI (Federation of German Industries). Ziesemer is also Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Endress + Hauser Group.
A strong thematic focus of the ZVEI's work will continue to be on the energy transition: "We want the energy industry to become the first fully digitalized industry in Germany and the energy transition as a whole to become an export success," Ziesemer explains. "We have already achieved a lot on the way there, but when it comes to increasing energy efficiency and reducing CO2 emissions, there is an unnecessary standstill."
