Production optimization through Causal AI technologies

Xplain Data presents the autonomous 'Causal DiscoveryBot'. The bot, which works in the background of a plant, continuously analyzes the data generated from all production steps.

The aim is to find the few factors in the wealth of correlations to a target variable that have a causal influence on the target variable - for example, factors that jeopardize the quality of the workpieces produced. If significant new causes emerge, a message is sent to the system operator. The autonomous Causal DiscoveryBot from Xplain Data continuously searches through production data for newly developing causes that jeopardize production. Affected stakeholders are alerted (e.g. by email or Slack) as soon as new causal factors become significant. From a methodological perspective, the bot represents a significant further development of plant monitoring in the SCADA/MES context.
