DE software & control

Inka Krischke,

Building blocks for quality assurance

The worker assistance system from DE software & control is a modular system that is supplied in a basic version and can be upgraded by the user with various components.

Two quality assurance components are new: a 'virtual limit sample board' and a 'video snippet'. The 'virtual limit sample board' is integrated into the production process and offers the option of a visual inline inspection directly at the end of an assembly process. An image of the workpiece is displayed in its IO and NOK variants. The employee can therefore check the correctness immediately.

The 'Video Snippet' module from DE software & control documents the entire production process in a simple way. Triggered by the cycle-based assembly process, photos or short video recordings of the process are taken and clearly assigned to the product to be manufactured. This enables simple traceability and creates the basis for a CIP process.
