Versatile, modular I/O system

'OCS-I/O' is a compact, expandable I/O system to supplement the PLC controllers from Horner Automation. The system can be used both as a local extension and decentralized.

The 'CNX116' base module from Horner Automation has two variable inputs (digital or 12-bit analog), two digital outputs, a 16-bit universal analog input and a 12-bit analog output. This means that up to three analog inputs are available without the need for an additional module. The I/O system can use up to seven modules per base and 16 bases per network. Each base has a CsCAN input and output, so that several bases can be connected in series without any wiring effort. The device is easy to integrate. The free 'Cscape' software from Horner is used for project planning. After networking, the base is automatically found and all installed modules are configured.
