Usable by the Node-RED community
With the s7comm node, Hilscher offers S7 communication services for Node-RED for the community.
This means that read and write access from and to data blocks, flags, I/O memory, counters and timers are no longer exclusively available on the manufacturer's edge gateways, but can be used by the entire Node-RED community. Node-RED is a visual programming tool that can be used to create IoT data connections - known as flows - from hardware at field level to cloud systems such as IBM Watson IoT, Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS.
