Bosch Rexroth
New composition of the Executive Board
Bosch Rexroth appoints Thomas Fechner and Roland Bittenauer to the Management Board. The tasks previously covered by Thomas Donato will be divided into two independent departments.
To date, Thomas Donato has been a member of the Bosch Rexroth Executive Board with responsibility for global sales and the factory automation business. On June 1, Donato will take over as Chairman of the Board of Management at Bosch Power Tools.
The tasks previously covered by Donato will be divided into two independent departments. This will allow Roland Bittenauer, as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, to concentrate fully on this area of responsibility. With Thomas Fechner, the automation business will now for the first time be the responsibility of a Management Board member who has no other functional role.
Bittenauer has been with Bosch Rexroth since spring 2021 and is responsible for the Central Europe sales region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), which has the highest turnover. Previously, the Austrian held senior sales positions at Parker Hannifin and the Austrian company Hainzl Industriesysteme.
Fechner joined the Bosch Group in 1998 and has held various engineering and management positions at Bosch Rexroth since 2009. Since 2021, the automation and software expert has headed the Automation & Electrification Solutions product division based in Lohr, which offers the ctrlX Automation automation kit, a core component of Bosch Rexroth's factory automation business. Fechner is also responsible for the Ulm site, where the company has been operating a customer and innovation center since 2019.
