New series: Three questions for ...What will 2020 bring?
Under the title "Three questions for ...", computer-automation.de is publishing short interviews with the leading figures in the automation industry on a monthly basis this year.

After studying electrical engineering at the TU Darmstadt in 1985, Gunther Kegel worked at the TU Darmstadt as a research assistant, completing his dissertation in the field of "Integration of sensor signals in robot control systems", before becoming head of pre-development at Pepperl+Fuchs in 1990.
After just one year, he became Head of Development for the Factory Automation division before taking over its management in 1994.
Always connected to technology, he became Managing Director (Technology) of today's Pepperl+Fuchs AG in 1997 and has been Chairman of the Management Board since 2001.
