With the PMI 6 Control (Pilz Machine Interface) product range, Pilz offers an operator terminal equipped with a soft PLC to IEC 61131-3 standard. In addition to diagnostics and visualization, the entire plant process can be controlled in just one device. The operating terminal is based on a processor module with 1.3 GHz. Together with 512 MB RAM and 512 MB flash memory capacity and the Windows Embedded Compact 7 operating system, this creates a platform for all applications. The devices are equipped with a capacitive glass touchscreen in 7 inch or alternatively 12 inch, which can be operated intuitively. In addition to the user-friendly visualization according to the manufacturer, any common HMI software can be used for visualization thanks to open interfaces. Software packages can be easily installed with the help of the 'PMI' wizard. It is part of the supplied SD card and can be easily called up if required.
