Phoenix Contact is equipping its Panel PCs from the Embeddedline family with the new Windows 10 Enterprise operating system. Alternatively, Windows Embedded Standard 7 is available. If applications are not approved for this, the standard operating system Windows 7 Professional can be used. In addition, the Panel PCs with analog resistive touch display have been enhanced with further functions: according to the manufacturer, a new Intel Atom E3845 quad-core processor is available as a powerful CPU in the entry-level range. A 2.5-inch SSD with 240 GByte should allow for demanding applications. Two galvanically isolated CAN interfaces are also available as an option. The device with a display size of 5.7 inches, which now expands the portfolio of Embeddedline PCs, is suitable for confined spaces.
