With the safe voltage monitor PNOZ s60, Pilz offers monitoring for the de-energized state of plant and machinery in accordance with the UL6420 standard. This makes the voltage monitor suitable for applications that require a Safety Lockout System (SLS), i.e. the maintenance of plant in a safely de-energized state. The safe voltage monitor complements the 'PNOZsigma' product group of safety relays and meets the requirements for implementing SLS applications, which are required by law in the USA. 'PNOZ s60' monitors de-energized 1-phase or 3-phase networks with a neutral conductor. Two switching thresholds can be set: 12 V or the usual 6 V in the food and beverage sector. The safety circuit is only released when the voltage falls below the configured switching threshold.
