Hanover Fair 2017New products at the industrial trade fair
"Integrated Industry - Creating Value" is the motto of the world's most important industrial trade fair, Hannover Messe 2017. Computer&AUTOMATION shows an excerpt of the products that can be seen in Hanover in a picture gallery.
The 5-axis kinematics from the 'Robolink D' series from Igus are available as a kit consisting of arm, motor and gearbox or as a ready-to-connect articulated arm. Thanks to the modular combination of articulated arm, motor and gearbox, the customer receives a system that can be flexibly assembled and used for a wide range of robotic tasks. It is also possible to combine motors and joints in several sizes with standard controllers for a complete robot made of plastic and aluminum. As predefined 5-axis kinematics with 'Robolink D joints', stepper motor kits from Igus and sheet metal bending parts as connection technology, 'e-chains' and 'Chainflex' cables from the supplier are also used. The motors can be controlled using commercially available control modules and the center distances can be modified by changing the connecting parts. The Robolink DC is available as a 5-axis system in two versions: a small version with a maximum load capacity of 0.5 kg and a larger version with a maximum load capacity of 2.5 kg. The system can also be ordered as a sub-assembly, for example as a rotary or swivel unit or as a 2-axis swivel arm.
