Hanover Fair 2017New products at the industrial trade fair
"Integrated Industry - Creating Value" is the motto of the world's most important industrial trade fair, Hannover Messe 2017. Computer&AUTOMATION shows an excerpt of the products that can be seen in Hanover in a picture gallery.

Frame light barriers are generally used to reliably detect and accurately count fast-flying or falling parts in manufacturing or packaging processes. However, if the installation space is particularly small or if there are difficult working conditions such as uncontrollable dust, solving this task can become a challenge. Balluff provides a remedy with the BOH AI light-band sensors from the 'Micromote' family with separate 'BAE' amplifier. By separating the optical unit from the evaluation electronics, the sensor head has a space-saving design. It is connected to the electronics via a highly flexible yet robust electrical cable. The optical precision of the light strip is achieved by lining up and defined overlapping of the individual light beams from discrete precision LEDs. This creates a uniform light strip. In principle, users can individually select the separate amplifier electronics for all continuous row sensors from a wide range of standard versions. Depending on the electronics, light-band sensors can therefore be used in different ways: from optical windows for dynamic object detection of free-falling parts to analog web edge control and non-contact optical limit switches.
