For the 41st time, the 'Plagiarius' campaign is calling on entrepreneurs, designers and inventors to submit their original products and alleged counterfeits. The aim is to expose counterfeiters of products and brands.
... FAG deep groove ball bearings 'FAG 6012.2ZR.C3' and INA angular contact ball bearings 'INA 30/8-2RS' originally from Schaeffler Technologies in Herzogenaurach. The counterfeits (pictured right) were exported from China by Yakang Bearing Supplies, a German trading company that ordered FAG and INA bearings from Yakang in good faith and sold them on. A border seizure and subsequent temporary injunction revealed the products to be counterfeits. The trading company agreed to the destruction of the counterfeits and apologized to Schaeffler.
