Siemens - 3rd quarter 2018Incoming orders grow, sales stagnate
In the third quarter of 2018, Siemens recorded double-digit growth in order intake, while sales stagnated. Particularly good business in the 'Digital Factory' division offset losses in the 'Power and Gas' division.

The Process Industries and Drives division recorded an increase in incoming orders in all businesses. In terms of sales, growth in the large drives and process automation business offset a decline in the mechanical components business due to weak demand. Incoming orders rose in all regions, while sales growth was driven by the Asia and Australia regions.
