Siemens - 3rd quarter 2018Incoming orders grow, sales stagnate
In the third quarter of 2018, Siemens recorded double-digit growth in order intake, while sales stagnated. Particularly good business in the 'Digital Factory' division offset losses in the 'Power and Gas' division.

The Mobility division benefited from a higher volume of major orders, in particular from €0.7 billion from Norway for the largest rail infrastructure order - including service - in Siemens' history. Sales revenue grew in the majority of businesses, particularly in the train business and the associated service business in the Europe/GANO region.
