SiemensFirst half-year lays foundation for strong financial year
Siemens has announced its figures for the second quarter of 2019 and recorded increases in order intake and sales as well as a record order backlog.

In the Power and Gas division, there was growth in order intake in the majority of the division's businesses, including a EUR 0.3 billion order in Brazil in the solutions business. However, the division recorded a decline in sales revenue, particularly in the new installations business as a result of the weak order intake in previous periods.
