Siemens"Fully on track" in the third quarter
The third quarter was "solid", announces Joe Kaeser, CEO of Siemens. In concrete terms, this means sales growth, an increase in profit - but also a decline in order intake.

There was also a decline in incoming orders in the transformers business, which had received a major order in the Asia, Australia reporting region in Q3 of the 2016 financial year. In all other businesses and reporting regions, however, there was an increase in incoming orders and an increase in sales revenue in almost all businesses. In geographical terms, there was growth in Asia, Australia and the reporting region Europe, CIS, Africa, Middle East and North Africa (Europe/GANO).
