Siemens - 1st quarter 2018'Digital Factory' and 'Mobility' stand out
Siemens has announced its figures for the first quarter: the company is growing in terms of both order intake and sales - thanks to strong contributions from the Mobility and Digital Factory Divisions. In contrast, the result of the Industrial Business declined.

One of the highlights of the first quarter for Siemens was the record order backlog of 128 billion euros. The company sees a need for action in the Power and Gas Division. Siemens CEO Joe Kaeser commented on this: "The business development shows that the need for actionwe have been outlining for some timeis necessary and has even become more urgent."
