Expansion of the Management Board
The Supervisory Board of Siemens has announced personnel decisions at Managing Board level in order to further expand its position as a leading technology company and to accelerate the increase in value.

© SiemensBy extending Cedrik Neike's contract by five years, the Supervisory Board is reaffirming the trust placed in him to successfully continue the transformation of the industrial automation and software business and to exploit the benefits of its further development into a software-as-a-service provider.
In addition, the Siemens Managing Board will be expanded by two Managing Board positions from five to seven members.
Peter Körte to become a member of the Siemens Managing Board and Chief Technology and Chief Strategy Officer as of October 1, 2024
© SiemensPeter Körte (48) will be appointed a member of the Siemens Managing Board and Chief Technology and Chief Strategy Officer with responsibility for Siemens Xcelerator and Siemens Advanta as of October 1, 2024 After early career stops, including in France, Körte held a number of management positions at Siemens and Siemens Healthineers. He was appointed Chief Technology and Chief Strategy Officer in 2020. Körte has led the Siemens Xcelerator open digital business platform from conception to launch in June 2022, which is growing by more than 10% per year.
Veronika Bienert to become a member of the Managing Board and CEO of Siemens Financial Services as of October 1, 2024
© SiemensVeronika Bienert (51) will be appointed as a member of the Managing Board and CEO of Siemens Financial Services with responsibility for the service portfolio of Siemens Real Estate and Global Business Services as of October 1, 2024. Bienert looks back on a 30-year international career at Siemens. She has worked and lived in Hong Kong, Croatia and Russia. Over the past eight years, she has led the successful development of Siemens Financial Services (SFS), first as CFO and since 2021 as CEO.
These Management Board appointments follow the extension of the contract of CEO Roland Busch by five years in spring this year.
