Dr. Steffen Haack becomes Chief Development Officer

Bosch Rexroth appoints Dr. Steffen Haak to the Management Board as of January 1. He will retain his role as head of the Industrial Hydraulics division, while Dr. Marc Wucherer will assume responsibility for Factory Automation on the Management Board.

Dr. Steffen Haack will once again become a member of the Executive Board at Bosch Rexroth on January 1, 2021. The 54-year-old will succeed Dr. Heiner Lang as Head of Development, who is leaving the company at the end of the year.

In connection with Haack's appointment to the Executive Board, responsibilities will be reassigned: The Factory Automation division with the three product areas Automation and Electrification Solutions, Assembly Technology and Linear Motion Technology, which was Lang's responsibility, will be assigned to Marc Wucherer at the turn of the year. As a member of the Executive Board, Wucherer has been responsible for sales and the three hydraulics product areas Industrial Hydraulics, Large Hydraulic Drives and Large Projects since April 2017. Responsibility for these three hydraulics units will be transferred to Haack.
