Digitization made easy
At SPS Connect, Udo Huneke and Wolfgang Wiedemann will be presenting a way in which smart data from control and IO components in machines and systems can be transferred directly and very easily to the cloud.
This is all done with solutions from a single source. In the age of IIoT, simple and uncomplicated access via a wide variety of devices and regardless of location is almost a basic requirement.
Machine optimization or predictive maintenance should no longer be tied to a specific location. This means that the machine and system operator can keep an eye on all important information at all times. With the cloud service, Murrelektronik is opening another door on the way to Industry 4.0. Udo Huneke and Wolfgang Wiedemann present the interface to the cloud: data is transferred via an encrypted communication channel using GSM transmission, the most widely used means of transport worldwide, or via OPC UA.

About the speakers
Udo Huneke heads the "Sales & Customer Solutions" department at Murrelektronik.
The electrical engineer and business economist (FH) has worked in various positions in sales, product management and marketing in automation for over 25 years and is responsible for the development of an IIoT service offering for Murrelektronik.

Wolfgang Wiedemann has headed the "Application Sales Consulting" department at Murrelektronik since 2012. He is the global contact person for topics relating to system sales, Industry 4.0 and IIoT. He also has 23 years of experience as head of the electrical department (machine tool factory) CE manager.
