Each device has a Profinet master, Ethernet/IP scanner and a Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU master. With the two Modbus protocols, the HMIs can also be operated as slaves. Codesys3 is designed to allow lean and simple programming of the control and visualization functions. Thanks to the high-resolution TFT display with 64,000 colors, graphics and animations are displayed attractively and with high performance, according to the manufacturer. The front of the TX500 series complies with protection class IP66. On the connection side, two RJ45 Ethernet ports, a serial interface for RS232 or RS485 and two USB ports are available. An additional SD card slot allows the internal data memory of 128 MByte to be expanded. Turck offers three variants of the TX500 series, which differ in display size and resolution: two 16:9 displays with 7 or 13 inches (TX507 and TX513) and a 10-inch device in 4:3 format (TX510). The two smaller displays offer 800 × 400 pixels, while the TX513 variant has a resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels.
