All About Automation in new hands
Trade fair organizer Easyfairs has acquired all shares in Stuttgart-based Untitled Exhibitions GmbH and is strengthening its trade fair portfolio in the DACH region with the regional industrial trade fairs All About Automation.
Untitled Exhibitions GmbH was a private trade fair company founded by trade fair professionals Michael Peters, Joseph Rath, Tanja Waglöhner and Udo Weller in Stuttgart in the fall of 2012. The company's portfolio included the All About Automation trade fairs with locations in Essen, Friedrichshafen, Hamburg, Leipzig and Chemnitz. On December 5, 2019, trade fair organizer Easyfairs took over all shares and employees of Untitled Exhibitions. All About Automation thus becomes part of the Easyfairs DACH portfolio. Both parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
Tanja Waglöhner will remain Managing Director of Untitled Exhibitions GmbH under the Easyfairs umbrella. She and the entire organizing team of All About Automation, based in Stuttgart, will remain on board and will drive forward the expansion and further development of All About Automation trade fairs under the responsibility of Roland Brand, Managing Director Easyfairs DACH.
The takeover strengthens Easyfairs' portfolio of industrial trade fairs and underlines the Group's growth strategy and the expansion of business in the DACH region. Easyfairs only took over the two FMB supplier trade fairs for mechanical engineering in Bad Salzuflen and Augsburg in February of this year.
Easyfairs currently organizes 200 events in 14 countries and operates 10 exhibition centres in Belgium, the Netherlands and Sweden. The group employs over 750 people and generated a turnover of over 167 million euros in the 2018/2019 financial year.
