Intel-based edge AI hardware
The 'SOM-COMe-BT6-PTL' from Seco is a COM Express Type 6 Basic module based on the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors (Panther Lake).
The module offers next-generation hybrid computing and AI acceleration for industrial edge systems with up to 16 CPU cores, the Intel NPU 5 with up to 50 TOPS of dedicated AI performance and a total platform AI performance of up to 180 TOPS combining CPU, GPU and NPU. Advanced graphics and image processing capabilities are enabled by the integrated Intel Arc GPU with Xe3 architecture, while support for DDR5/LPDDR5x memory, PCIe Gen4/Gen5, Thunderbolt and multi-display outputs make the module suitable for AI-driven automation, multi-camera vision, medical imaging, smart retail and latency-sensitive edge applications. The module is designed according to COM Express Type 6 standard.
