The Raspberry Pi computer is enjoying great popularity - and not just in the hobbyist scene. That's why more and more automation companies are turning to the open source computer, as Computer&AUTOMATION shows in the following series of images.
Kontron, for example, has presented a development kit for the development of products for industry. The kit includes a developer board according to SBC specifications, a Raspberry Pi Computer Module 3 Light and an SD card with a preconfigured Raspian operating system. With this offer, Kontron aims to meet the requirements of development departments in many industries that are developing prototypes based on Raspberry Pi but have so far shied away from using the platform industrially due to a lack of professional support.
