Embedded ComputingNew products at embedded world 2019
At the end of February, the Nuremberg exhibition halls made way for everything to do with embedded systems technology. Computer&AUTOMATION presents a selection of new products that were on show at the embedded world 2019 stands.

Harting now also offers its Han-Eco series in the industrial standard size Han B. Han-Eco B differs from the Han B industrial connector in a metal housing primarily due to the option of rear mounting. Whereas with the standard housing the cables are first fed through the mounting cut-out in order to process the inserts outside the control cabinet, with the Eco version the pre-assembled inserts can be snapped in directly from the interior. This makes it easier to assemble prefabricated units, as the control cabinet and cable harnesses can be pre-assembled separately. The new plastic connectors are plug-compatible with the respective Han-B metal variants, which enables a step-by-step introduction. According to the manufacturer, the new connectors are lightweight, easy to install and corrosion-resistant - and offer numerous additional configuration options such as the integration of a PE module. The components are fire-resistant in accordance with UL94 V0 and are therefore suitable for railroad applications, for example.
