From February 27 to March 1, 2018, the Nuremberg exhibition halls made room for everything to do with embedded systems technology. Computer&AUTOMATION presents a selection of new products that were on show at the stands of the 16th embedded world.
Real-Time Innovations is focusing on the latest version of its connectivity platform for real-time applications, Connext DDS 5.3, which is based on the OMG DDS standard and enables data sharing across multiple networks. The current version offers new security plug-ins as well as plug-and-play systems from components from different providers. In addition, data histories can be queried as required without overloading the network bandwidth. This data is often required to refine analyses or update dashboards. In addition, the software offers seamless device mobility without any loss of connection or data, for example when switching devices from one network to another. The devices automatically and securely localize and authenticate themselves. The new RTI Web Integration Service also simplifies the creation of user-oriented web applications.
