From February 27 to March 1, 2018, the Nuremberg exhibition halls made room for everything to do with embedded systems technology. Computer&AUTOMATION presents a selection of new products that were on show at the stands of the 16th embedded world.
The eWON remote service platform Talk2M is an essential element of the remote maintenance solution 'eWON' from HMS. Talk2M offers secure remote access to industrial machines and systems via the eWON industrial routers. Accordingly, the IT security of the platform is regularly audited by independent companies to ensure the highest level of security. Recently, the platform received the IT security certificate 'Isecom Star Security Certified' after the performance of the solution was assessed by Admeritia - an independent German provider in the field of IT security (ethical hacking) and KPI-based security assessment. The assessment was carried out through audit processes in accordance with OSSTMM 3.0 and OWASP. These also included penetration tests of Talk2M's cloud-based infrastructure.
