Ready-to-install embedded communication interfaces
'Anybus CompactCom' is a product family of ready-to-install embedded communication interfaces for connecting automation devices to all major industrial networks from HMS.
The new 'B40 Mini' complements the existing range of slide-in modules and plug-in brick solutions with a solder-on brick solution that is optimized for automated production. It is soldered directly onto the carrier board of the automation device and, according to the manufacturer, is 30% smaller than the plug-in brick solution. This makes it particularly suitable for small automation devices. Supplied on tape and reel, it is optimized for automated production with pick & place and SMD soldering processes and designed for high quantities. The module from HMS has the industrial Ethernet networks Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Powerlink, Ethercat, Modbus-TCP and Bacnet/IP pre-installed and can also be supplied pre-set for a specific network.
