For high-performance graphics applications

One feature of the Conga-IGX motherboards from Congatec is the configurable TDP of the processors, which allows the cooling and power supply design and system costs to be optimized for specific applications.

The boards are primarily used in applications that require high-performance graphics for low-power devices. The new boards with the second generation of AMD Embedded G-Series SoC processors are available in a 2.2 GHz dual-core design or as a multiprocessing optimized 4x 1.2 GHz quad-core platform (5/7 W max. configurable TDP). With the integrated Radeon R5E/R3E next-generation graphics core from AMD, the boards offer 4k graphics support including DirectX11.1 and OpenGL 4.2. Up to two displays can be controlled independently of each other via DisplayPort 1.2, DVI or LVDS. They also support OpenCL 1.2. The boards can be expanded via a PCIe x4 Gen 2.0 slot, 1x MiniPCIe, 2x USB 3.0 and 6x USB 2.0. Via a special socket, applications can also be easily and cost-effectively expanded using standard USB sticks with, for example, WLAN, mobile connectivity or security mechanisms (dongle). For IoT networking, the boards run 2x Gigabit LAN.
