The embedded world Exhibition&Conference starts 2026 with an increase in exhibitors and exhibition space. From 10 to 12 March, 1,262 companies from 43 countries will be presenting their technologies for embedded systems at the Exhibition Center Nuremberg. Last year there were 1188 exhibitors.
The net exhibition space has grown to 34,069 m² in seven exhibition halls, which is around five percent more than the previous year. The event is aimed at developers, industry representatives and technology companies from areas such as networked systems, industrial electronics and software development.
One part of the program is the embedded world Conference. Richard J. Simoncic, Chief Operating Officer of Microchip Technology, will give the opening keynote entitled "Learning from the Octopus: Nature's Blueprint for Intelligence Everywhere". He will explain how the decentralized nervous system of an octopus can serve as a model for distributed intelligence in embedded systems. The topics covered include energy efficiency, integration complexity and security requirements in networked systems.
The supporting program also includes formats for promoting young talent and networking. The Student Day gives students insights into companies in the industry and information on career paths. The #women4ew networking format is aimed at women in the embedded systems industry and offers an opportunity to discuss career paths and industry developments.
A job lounge in Hall 4 (Stand 4-171) serves as a meeting point for career questions, application feedback and information on the job market. The official career partner is SchuhEder Consulting.
Several international pavilions will present companies from various technology markets. These include a Czech pavilion officially supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade for the first time. Other country and sector stands come from Canada, Taiwan, the Netherlands, Turkey, Greece, Serbia and Tunisia, among others.
