Actuators or sensors are controlled directly via integrated I/O interfaces. Thanks to two standard CAN interfaces, CAN bus systems can be controlled. The Box PC from Syslogic is certified in accordance with EN 1175-1:1998+A1:2010. With integrated Gigabit Ethernet interfaces and WiFi support, the Box PC is suitable as an IoT gateway or data logger.

In addition to the input/output interfaces, a MiniPCI Express interface is available for system expansion. MicroSD and CFast slots are available for storage media. The manufacturer supplies its embedded systems with a preconfigured operating system. Depending on requirements, various Windows or Linux versions are available, such as Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2019 and Debian 10.
