Embedded systems
Create individual devices
Pentair presents a new concept for building embedded systems.
Based on small form factor boards (e.g. ATX, Micro ATX, Mini ITX, Pico ITX), single-board computers (e.g. Embedded NUC, Raspberry Pi and Arduino) or a proprietary board provided by the customer, the customer first configures a suitable housing with the modular housing platform Schroff Interscale. Various electronic components, cooling, necessary cut-outs, labeling and necessary accessories are then integrated. Further services, such as simulations and tests as well as support with certification, are also included. Standardized modules allow the customer to build individual IIoT solutions and other applications, for example. The enclosure platform is based on a parametric model and can therefore be realized in different heights, widths and depths depending on the requirements and the respective board size. The special interlocking design of the enclosures ensures integrated EMC protection of 20 dB at 2 GHz without the need for additional EMC seals and guarantees a protection rating of up to IP30. Depending on the version, the enclosures consist of two to four parts, which are fixed in place with just two to four screws.
