Industrial PCs
Based on the seventh Core i generation
B&R is expanding its portfolio with a new series of Box PCs (Automation PC 3100) and Panel PCs (Panel PC 3100). Various interface cards for serial interfaces, Ethernet, CAN and Powerlink can be operated in two slots on the devices.
A UPS solution and an audio interface are also available for the slots. The PCs also offer slots for two data carriers in the industry-standard CFast format - up to 256 GB per data carrier is possible. The CFast cards can also be operated as a RAID array for greater reliability. The processors are based on the 7th Core i generation from Intel. They are scalable over a wide range - from Celeron to Core i7. As all variants are fanless, the industrial PCs do not require any rotating parts. While the Automation PC 3100 is designed for controlling remote panels, the computing unit of the Panel PC 3100 can be combined with any Automation Panel installation device from 10.1 inches upwards to form a single device. The spectrum ranges from VGA displays with an aspect ratio of 4:3 to widescreen panels with full HD resolution - optionally with single or multi-touch.
