Passing the one million mark for the first time

Conrad Business Supplies breaks the one million barrier on its marketplace 'conrad.biz': The company has thus expanded its range in the business sector from 750,000 products by a further 250,000 products since the launch of the Conrad Marketplace in May 2017.

The marketplace is designed to enable business customers to compare products directly. In the meantime, it has developed into a contact point for sellers: Currently, 33 sellers are connected with their products. While there were around 67,000 connected articles at the end of May 2017, there were already over 250,000 at the end of September 2017. Conrad is continuously working with the sellers to expand the product range. Behind this are numerous internal processes that remain invisible to the customer. Almost all areas of the company and a special Marketplace team with Pietro Otto, Senior Director Conrad Marketplace, work daily on optimizing the new technology marketplace of the future.

Conrad insists on strict quality criteria when accepting sellers in order to meet the high demands of the customer. Certification in accordance with DIN ISO 9001 is a key feature. The customer should benefit from advantages such as security and purchase on account. The 'conrad.biz' marketplace also aims to attract new customer groups and sectors by adding new sellers - including those who do not come from the electronics industry.
