The KEB Combivert S6 therefore also includes power levels 4 and 5.5 kW and operates servomotors from the DL3 series up to 30 Nm with an overload of 250. According to the manufacturer, the system is aimed at dynamic motion tasks in applications ranging from infeed and all types of handling and removal systems to multi-axis machining centers for wood, glass, plastic or metal. Interfaces to the control level for real-time communication are designed with EtherCAT and CAN as standard, and optionally for Profinet and Powerlink. The three-phase mains connection with wide-range voltage 200...480 VAC -50/ 60 Hz and integrated spark suppression in accordance with EN61800-3/ environments C1/ C2 with leakage currents of less than 5mA for motor cable lengths of up to 50 m allow operation in installations with residual current circuit breakers of 30mA. The equipment includes the brake transistor, brake supply 24V and motor temperature monitoring for PTC or KTY. Two universal encoder channels and the device firmware for controlled or regulated operation of asynchronous, synchronous, IPM or synchronous reluctance motors make the device series capable of driving almost any motor.
