New "New Technologies and Development" board member
Dr.-Ing. Kurt D. Bettenhausen took up his position as Director of "New Technologies and Development" at the Harting Technology Group on September 1.
Dr. Kurt D. Bettenhausen studied electrical engineering at Darmstadt Technical University and graduated in 1996 with a doctorate. He was most recently Chief Technology Officer and Chief Digital Officer at Schunk GmbH in Lauffen am Neckar, a company for clamping technology and gripping systems. He joined Harting on September 1, 2020, taking over the role from Uwe Gräff, who left the company in September last year.
Bettenhausen is represented on numerous committees, including as Chairman of the VDI "Digital Transformation" committee and member of the Executive Board of the VDI/VDE Society for Measurement and Automation Technology.
