Kunbus takes over Comsoft-ICP

Kunbus, a solution provider in the field of industrial communication from Denkendorf near Stuttgart, announced the acquisition of the ICP (Industrial Communication Products) division of Karlsruhe-based Comsoft at embedded world 2016.

Through the takeover, Kunbus intends to expand its product range and deepen its specialist know-how in the field of industrial communication. By merging the sales structures, Comsoft-ICP, which will continue to operate under the Kunbus name, now has a global sales network at its disposal.

The Kunbus management is convinced that the takeover will strengthen its position on the market enormously - not least because there is little overlap in the existing product portfolios of the two companies, but at the same time there are high synergy effects.
