NürnbergMesse - the organizer of embedded world - has announced the winners of the Embedded Awards 2018. In the categories 'Hardware', 'Software' and 'Tools', it honors particularly innovative products and developments.
Data I/O Corporation wins the Embedded Award 2018 in the 'Tools' category with 'SentriX'. The 'SentriX Security Provisioning Platform' enables OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) customers to integrate a hardware-based "Roots of Trust" routine - including cryptographic keys - in the pre-programming phase. This creates the prerequisites for the identification and authentication of the components, generated key pairs (public/private keys) and the generation of certificates, the encryption and decryption of firmware and secure execution and secure booting.
