Belden launches the Spider III PoE Standard Line entry level switches. The configurable switches support PoE+ and, according to the provider, enable designers to supply more end devices with more power and ensure high-performance, reliable data communication without the need for an external power supply unit. Thanks to configurable fiber optic and copper ports, flexible network expansion is possible. The metal housing and IP30 protection rating ensure high network availability in harsh environmental conditions. Plug-and-play functions ensure simple installation and maintenance without tools. The switches are resistant to shock, vibration and interference and are suitable for automated systems in factories and process plants as well as traffic control, video surveillance and building technology, for example.
