Etherline Access series from Lapp
© Lapp

Lapp is launching models from the 'Etherline Access' series for Profinet networks. The switches have 4, 8 or 16 ports, recognizable by the name abbreviations PNF04T, PNF08T and PNF16T, and meet Profinet Conformance Class B. This enables the switch to distinguish whether a telegram is a request from the web, an FTP file transfer, a media stream or a Profinet telegram. If the transmission load is high, the switch can prioritize the important Profinet telegrams and prevent telegram delays from occurring. The 'Etherline Access' family already includes switches for industrial Ethernet, both managed and unmanaged.
