Festo has given an outlook on its digitalization activities: In addition to bionics projects, the company will be presenting a self-learning workstation for human-robot collaboration at the Hannover Messe 2018.

In future, Festo components will be designed in such a way that they can collect and pre-process data in order to make it available for analysis purposes. Festo offers various digital platforms for the meaningful evaluation and use of this data. "In the future, our focus will be on using these platforms to provide our customers with even more support and assistance not only in planning and commissioning, but also in operating the systems," explains Andreas Oroszi, Senior Vice President Digital Business at Festo.
