Dual leadership in Shanghai
Stefan Becker has been appointed Managing Director of Eckelmann Automation Technology in Shanghai and will manage the subsidiary together with Zhongwei Huang.
Stefan Becker, authorized signatory and Head of Business Unit Production, Logistics and Digital Solutions at Eckelmann in Wiesbaden, will in future manage the company subsidiary Eckelmann Automation Technology, China, based in Shanghai, together with Zhongwei Huang. "As the Eckelmann Group, we want to serve the largest global market with customized automation solutions and at the same time benefit from the outstanding technical innovations on site," explains Stefan Becker.
The new management team will expand cross-border project cooperation between the nations in order to expand local sales and consulting activities. At the same time, Chinese future technologies will be added to the system integrator's portfolio.
With this personnel reinforcement, CEO Volker Kugel underlines the strategic importance of the Asian market and at the same time continues the internationalization process. At the same time, sales and service via Eckelmann Shanghai is responding to the constantly growing demand in Asian countries for automation and control systems for future-oriented industries.
