Conference 'Internet of Things - from the sensor to the cloud'
The conference 'Internet of Things - from sensor to cloud' will take place in Munich on October 19, 2017. Dr. Cynthia Klett from Festo will open the conference with the keynote speech "Digitalization - from trend to application".
From the perspective of Dr. Cynthia Klett from Festo, the challenge for every company is to find suitable fields of application. In the spirit of Industry 4.0 and the idea that this opens up a space of opportunity, buyers and sellers meet in search of suitable 'opportunities'.

The Internet of Things (IoT) describes the automated and autonomous communication between sensors and actuators, devices and database servers, people and machines. The multitude of standards, communication protocols, frameworks and architectures brings with it immense complexity that needs to be dealt with using the right methods and tools. Against the backdrop of the comprehensive networking of even small and inexpensive devices, data security also takes on a whole new significance.
Another challenge is the consistent and integrated modeling, transfer and administration of both data paths and management plans in the usually multi-level systems. And finally, the most flexible possible optimization of the computer and communication load between edge and cloud must be found in the distribution of algorithms.
All of these relevant topics will be examined in detail at the IoT conference in numerous and varied specialist presentations in order to provide product managers, system architects and developers with solutions, discuss problems and generate new ideas.
