Flexibility in network design
Belden introduces the Hirschmann standard switch 'Greyhound2000' to the market. The 19-inch Ethernet switch offers a very high fiber optic port density and configurable port modules that can be flexibly adapted to different connection scenarios.
The switch is particularly suitable for power generation, transmission and distribution, public transportation, rail systems and the process industry. It offers high flexibility and configurability with up to 34 ports. Redundancy protocols are built into each port to ensure the high availability and network stability required for mission-critical applications. The switch was developed for demanding industrial environments, with an extended temperature range (up to +85°C with 16 hours of dry heat) and high electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
